The primary function of the Business Analyst role is to drive business analytics and process improvements in all areas of Field including all U.S. and Mexico locations. This includes but is not limited to identifying gaps and errors in processes, identifying root cause issues, and working with leaders to create process improvements to maximize efficiency and accuracy. This position will also drive continuous improvement to gain efficiency and improve process flows throughout the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Commit to FIELD’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
- Utilize data and reporting capabilities to drive and lead business analytics for Field.
- Identify and assess areas that have excessive errors and gaps; analyze reports and data, query team members to target root cause.
- Work with the functional Teams & Leadership to develop robust systems based corrective actions and updated processes that will ensure the issues don’t reoccur.
- Identify and implement automation to various processes to improve efficiencies.
- Serve as a change agent in support of revisions to current processes and introduction of new processes and procedures.
- Lead training of new processes to team members.
- Analyze post-change to ensure changes created efficiencies and reduced errors.
- Act as the Epicor lead and ERP admin, taking ownership of system edits and improvements.
- Work with the Functional teams to ensure they optimize utilization of P-21
- Ensure the Functional teams know how to utilize new features and enhancements to P-21
- Partner with Tyler, Florence, MX to assess remote needs.
- Lead the Innovation Team to include scheduling of meetings, agendas, soliciting input, and delivering on action items. Work on meaningful open projects.
- Evaluate and prioritize CI ideas submitted by Field team members as part of the Innovation Team.
- Create and install a repeatable innovation process with our team.
- Ensure Field’s CI cost reduction objectives are met.
- Teach and train the appropriate tools and techniques to Field Team Members.
- Prepare and deliver regular reporting on CI and Innovation results. Including an overall ROI on our CI & Innovation efforts.
- Gather and analyze data in order to identify opportunities/projects for improvements and establish/implement process to maximize the level of improvement.
- As the subject matter expert, take a hands on approach to implementing CI projects while providing direction and oversight of the entire process.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Polite and professional manner.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong data analytical skills.
- Experience driving CI projects and broader based Innovation projects.
- Formal project management experience, training, and/or certification.
- A track record of cross functional collaboration.
- Ability to lead project teams
- Experience and ability to perform complex tasks in Excel and SQL or willing to be trained and become an expert.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with a variety of team members.
- Strong time management skills and detail orientation.
