Job Description:
The Quality Engineer – Customer/Supplier/Internal is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements across all facets of the supply chain. This role involves working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and maintain compliance with industry standards. The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in preventing defects, improving product reliability, and fostering strong relationships between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with suppliers to monitor quality performance, conduct audits, and establish quality improvement plans.
- Implement internal quality control measures to maintain compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective/preventive action plans.
- Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, Six Sigma, or other relevant quality management systems.
- Train internal teams on best practices for quality assurance and compliance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in quality assurance tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience conducting supplier and customer audits.
