Provide guidance and oversight for all activities involving the Florence Operation in Florence, South Carolina or the Tyler Operation in Tyler, Texas. Serve as the leader and primary decision maker regarding day-to-day activities of the operation. Provide leadership to team members and serve as the responsible party for site-specific decisions. Work to build Field’s brand and engagement within the community. Serve as the culture leader for the operation. Work cross functionally with the Field Leadership Team and numerous Team Leaders in support of strategic and tactical objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Commit to FIELD’s Mission Statement, Core Values, and Fieldamentals.
- Assist with the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals.
- Review, analyze, and prepare reports as needed and work with other members of leadership to systematize activities and work practices.
- Responsible for operating performance of the Florence Operation.
- Assign or delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities and disseminate policies and objectives to the team.
- Organize resources to ensure effective production of services.
- Coordinate activities of work teams to ensure efficiency and economy.
- Monitor and analyze costs and prepare reports as required.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, performance monitoring, coaching, disciplining, and terminating of team members as needed.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Polite and professional manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent business/leadership experience.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience within a business similar to Field’s.
- Experience in partnering with an executive team.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.
