The Kitting & Assembly role is an entry-level position responsible for assembling product kits and preparing components for production or shipping. This position involves gathering parts, organizing materials, and ensuring that all necessary components are correctly packaged and labeled for final assembly. Kitting & Assembly team members play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency in production workflows, ensuring accuracy in product assembly, and supporting warehouse and manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately gather, sort, and package parts into kits for assembly or shipment.
- Follow assembly instructions and quality standards to ensure proper kitting.
- Verify inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors.
- Label and organize kits according to work orders and production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in basic assembly tasks, such as fastening parts together or conducting quality checks.
- Work collaboratively with team members and follow safety protocols.
