Responsible for maximizing revenue generation and market penetration. Develop new business by Identifying, penetrating, negotiating, and closing sales opportunities. Manage customer requirements by working with supply chain and performing the following duties:
Essential Functions:

- Provide leadership in managing projects within the company, suppliers and the customers.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to satisfy revenue goals.
- Proactive and strategic contact for existing account base and new business.
- Professionally establish, maintain, and grow existing account relationships.
- Monitor, review and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved and execute sales activity documentation in a timely and professional manner.
- Develop target customer service level and team goals; position team to achieve goals.
- Work with internal departments to ensure quality, improve efficiencies, and control costs while providing superior customer support and issue resolution.
- Develop new accounts by demonstrating the ability to identify potential new customers.
- Assist assigned Account Managers in new business solicitation and is responsible for continually looking to create and implement new ideas to current business.
- Maintain accurate sales productivity forecasts and manage budgeted expenses.
- Maintain awareness of the marketplace, the competitive environment, the customers’ industry and position in order to recommend strategies and projects.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Polite and professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years sales management
- Proven track record of results.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
- Experience in Supplier Relationship Management
